Talentlytica seeks a strategic Legal Advisor to guide and oversee the company’s legal and compliance frameworks. As a key advisor to management, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Talentlytica’s HR Tech solutions align with evolving legal standards, particularly in Data Protection & Privacy (PDP). This role is essential in safeguarding the organization’s reputation and fostering sustainable growth.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (Sarjana Hukum).
  • At least 5 years of experience in legal advisory roles, preferably in the technology or data-driven sectors.
  • Expertise in Data Protection & Privacy (PDP) and international compliance standards such as GDPR.
  • Preferably licensed to practice law in Indonesia.
  • Strong negotiation and strategic thinking skills, with experience advising senior management.
  • Proactive approach to identifying legal risks and solving complex regulatory challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence and align cross-departmental teams.

Responsibility

  • Provide strategic legal advice to executive leadership on business operations, policies, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee company-wide compliance with Data Protection & Privacy (PDP) regulations and ensure integration of data protection measures into business processes and product development.
  • Develop and implement frameworks for managing sensitive data and maintaining compliance with national and international regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Monitor and interpret changes in laws and regulations to anticipate their impact on the business and advise on necessary adaptations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate high-level contracts, particularly those involving data-sharing, SaaS solutions, and international partnerships.
  • Act as the key liaison with regulators, external legal counsel, and other stakeholders to represent the company’s legal interests.
  • Identify potential legal risks proactively and recommend strategies to mitigate them at both operational and strategic levels.
  • Lead initiatives to raise awareness across the organization about compliance, data privacy, and best practices in handling sensitive information.
  • Ensure that the company's operations and technologies are built and scaled in alignment with applicable laws and ethical standards.
